Al Keralawi FC emerged as champions of the 3rd Olympian T. Abdul Rahman Ever Rolling Trophy Football Tournament 2026, organized by Kozhikode Jilla Pravasi Forum (KPF) Bahrain. The tournament, held at the Al Ahli Stadium, Zinj, brought together eight of Bahrain’s leading football teams in a celebration of sporting excellence, teamwork, and community spirit.
After successfully progressing through the preliminary rounds and semi-finals, Al Keralawi FC secured the championship title by defeating GSB FC in a thrilling penalty shootout in the final. GSB FC finished as the runners-up after an impressive tournament campaign.
The tournament was officially inaugurated by Mr. Esam Isa Alkhayyat, Head of Investment Development, Northern Governorate, Ministry of Interior, Kingdom of Bahrain. The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Mr. Deep Raj Joshi, Third Secretary of the Embassy of Nepal, and Mrs. Deep Raj Joshi; Mr. Francis Kaitharath, Managing Director of IMAC Bahrain Media City; Mr. P.K. Jagadish Kumar, Manager, Vice Chairman’s Office, Ebrahim K. Kanoo; Mr. E.V. Rajeev; Mr. Rajesh Nambiar, President of NSS Bahrain; and Mr. Sharafuddin Ali Kunju of Bahrain Civil Defence, along with prominent community leaders and well-wishers.
The prestigious Olympian T. Abdul Rahman Ever Rolling Trophy was presented to the champions, Al Keralawi FC, by KPF Bahrain President Mr. Sudheer Thirunilath and Mr. Praveen, Director of Bazar Discount Centre, one of the tournament’s principal sponsors.
The runners-up trophy was presented to GSB FC by KPF General Secretary Mr. Arun Prakash, Treasurer Mr. Sujith Soman, and Mr. Sudhi Chathoth, Director of Jeans Avenue and Convener of the KPF Sports Wing.

The individual awards were presented by KPF Patrons Mr. K.T. Salim and Mr. U.K. Balan, Sports Wing Convener Mr. Sudhi Chathoth, Joint Convener Mr. Bidhulesh Parambath, members of the KPF Executive Committee, and the KPF Ladies Wing.
The tournament featured highly competitive matches marked by outstanding sportsmanship, skill, and fair play throughout. The event successfully achieved its objective of promoting sports, friendship, and unity among the expatriate community in Bahrain.
