AL HILAL HEALTHCARE GROUP, OASIS MALL JUFFAIR, AND RADIO MIRCHI HOST‘WORLD HEART DAY – SEASON 2’, UNITING THE COMMUNITY FOR HEART HEALTH AWARENESS

Al Hilal Healthcare Group, in strategic partnership with Oasis Mall Juffair and Radio Mirchi, successfully hosted World Heart Day – Season 2 on Friday evening under the slogan “Don’t Miss a Beat.” The community-focused initiative brought together hundreds of registered participants, families, healthcare professionals, corporate partners, and guests for an evening dedicated to heart health, preventive care, healthy living, and community awareness. The event commenced at 6:00 PM with an engaging opening hosted by the Radio Mirchi team, who kept participants entertained throughout the evening with interactive stage segments, games, audience challenges, and prize giveaways supported by the event’s partners. The programme featured a diverse range of activities designed to bridge health education with entertainment. The evening began with a fitness test conducted by Fitness First, followed by interactive segments and a moving Heart Survivor Story, giving attendees an opportunity to reflect on the critical importance of timely action and cardiac care. Leading the medical programme were Al Hilal’s expert physicians: Dr. Santosh Mysore Jayadev, Consultant Cardiology; Dr. Mohamed Abdul Khadir, Consultant Cardiology; Dr. Milta Kuriakose, Specialist Pulmonary Disease; and Dr. Rahul Abbas, Consultant Internal Medicine. The panel shared practical guidance on cardiovascular prevention and overall wellness, culminating in an interactive question-and-answer session with attendees. Adding a vital practical element to the evening, certified trainers conducted a hands-on CPR demonstration, empowering participants with essential emergency response skills that could prove life-saving during a cardiac crisis.

In line with Al Hilal Healthcare Group’s strong focus on preventive care, every registered attendee received a free BD 50 heart health screening voucher, alongside a cardiology consultation voucher. The event also ensured an inclusive family experience with a Kids Carnival featuring colouring contests and face painting. The evening’s excitement was heightened by a Grand Raffle Draw, where winners shared a total cash prize of BD 250. Additionally, luxury one-night stay vouchers were awarded by Ramee Grand Hotel, Gulf Hotel, and Downtown Rotana. Through the generous support of event partners, various gifts and custom giveaway bags were distributed to all registered attendees. The event culminated in a symbolic Heart Formation, with participants, organisers, and guests uniting to create a massive human heart at Oasis Mall Juffair—a visual representation of community solidarity and the collective commitment to cardiovascular health. The event was honoured by the presence of Mr. Issam Isa Al Khayat, Head of Investment Development at the Northern Governorate, who attended as the Guest of Honour.
