Bharathi Association organised a distinguished farewell felicitation programme at its premises on Friday, 26th June at 6.00 pm, honouring His Excellency Mr. Vinod K. Jacob, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and Mr. V. R. Palaniswamy, Principal of The Indian School, Bahrain, in recognition of their valuable services and remarkable contributions.

The event commenced with a Tamil invocation song, setting a graceful and dignified atmosphere for the evening. The General Secretary of Bharathi Association, Mr. Abdul Qaiyum, delivered the welcome address and warmly acknowledged the presence of the esteemed guests and members of the community.The presidential address was delivered by Mr. Vallam Basheer, who highlighted the significant role played by both dignitaries in strengthening community relations and serving the Indian diaspora in Bahrain.

Mr. V. Raja Pandian, General Secretary of The Indian School, Bahrain, delivered the felicitation speech and appreciated the dedicated efforts, leadership, and invaluable contributions of H.E. Mr. Vinod K. Jacob and Mr. V. R. Palaniswamy during their tenure.As a mark of respect and gratitude, mementos were presented to both dignitaries on behalf of Bharathi Association, conveying heartfelt appreciation and best wishes for their future endeavours.
During the function, it was fondly recalled that H.E. Mr. Vinod K. Jacob had inaugurated the Bharathi Association premises last year. His gracious presence at the first anniversary celebration of the association was remembered as a memorable milestone and a moment of great honour for the organisation.The programme was efficiently anchored by Mr. R. J. Rathi, while the Assistant General Secretary, Mr. Subash Subramanian, delivered the vote of thanks.
The felicitation ceremony was followed by a vibrant musical evening featuring talented local singers, adding a cultural charm to the occasion. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of hundreds of Bharathi Association members, well-wishers, and community representatives, making it a memorable farewell celebration.
